On September 17, Floyd Mayweather Jr. returns to boxing after a 16 month hiatus during which he was accused of domestic violence. Now he puts his unbeaten record on the line against “Vicious” Victor Ortiz for the WBC welterweight title. You may think this is a David vs Goliath scenario. But Ortiz is coming off an excellent win versus previously unbeaten Welterweight Champ, Andre Berto. This fight is gonna be nuts. Trust me. So while we wait for it to go down, let’s look back at their different paths to the top of boxing.
